Europe’s largest oilfield in 10 years discovered in Poland

July 22, Fineko/abc.az. In Poland, the largest oilfield in Europe in 10 years has been discovered off the Baltic Sea coast.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Central European Petroleum, which owns the Volin concession in northwestern Poland and acts as its operator.

According to CEP's preliminary estimate, the field at well Volin-East 1 (WE1) near the town of Svinoujscie contains 22 million tons of recoverable crude oil and condensate reserves, as well as 5 bcm of marketable natural gas.
