July 9, Fineko/abc.az. To date, there have been 4 defaults on business loans guaranteed by the Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund, ABC.AZ reports, quoting AMCGF Credit Guarantee Department’s director Elshan Kerimov.

According to Kerimov, as part of the traditional mechanism, the AMCGF applies thorough process of underwriter analysis and uses a credit rating model.

"That is, unlike banking analysis, there is a more simplified (average) process of assessment. Therefore, the portfolios in the AMCGF’s cases are quite stable. If we consider 4 registered default cases, all of them are real cases, for example, there was a fire and the business completely burned down. If we take them as an example, the rest of the cases are also of this kind. We have fully secured payments for these cases," Kerimov said.
