July 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerenerji OJSC completed 2024 with net profit of 173.834 million manats (0.7% less than in 2023), ABC.AZ informs with reference to electricity company’s financial statements.

At the same time, the accumulated loss declined by 8.7% to 1.82 billion manats.

Last year, Azerenerji's earnings from electricity sales amounted to 1.429 billion manats (15.2% less than a year earlier), revenues from electricity connection services - 1.231 million manats (2.5-fold less), other revenues - 37.471 million manats (10-fold more).

In 2024, fuel costs will total 685.805 million manats (15.3% less than in 2023), depreciation costs - 292.832 million manats (5.1% more), personnel costs - 126.223 million manats (20.4% more), repair and maintenance costs - 66.854 million manats (44.3% less), the cost of material resources - 15.462 million manats (27.8% less), the cost of purchasing electricity - 36.414 million manats (2.3-fold more).

Also, last year, Azerenerji earned 8.653 million manats from changes in the VAT depreciation reserve (there was a loss in the previous year), other expenses reached 35.435 million manats (49.2% less), financial expenses 21.854 million manats (11.1% less), income from foreign currency exchange 130.198 million manats (by 18.8% less), losses from foreign currency exchange 67.686 million manats (2.1-fold less), income from depreciation of property, construction, equipment and advance payment for the purchase of property, construction and equipment - 29,000 manats (15.2-fold less), income tax payments - 58.505 million manats (4.6% less), other tax payments - 26.303 million manats (2.2% less).
