July 15, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan will sign the Convention on joining the International Organization for Mediation, initiated by China. The respective document was signed in Beijing by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ermek Kosherbaev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of their strategic partnership and highlighted the rapid growth in mutual trade, which reached $48.7 billion by the end of 2025.

The agenda also focused on preparations for the upcoming World Artificial Intelligence Conference, with Kazakhstan expressing support for China’s initiative to establish a global organization for cooperation in the field of AI.
