Credit bureaus in Azerbaijan are no longer just a scoring tool, but one of the main pillars of financial stability, ABC.AZ informs, quoting deputy governor of the Central Bank (CBA) Togrul Aliyev as saying this at the First International Conference on Credit Reporting in Baku.

"The strategic role of credit reporting systems in the financial sector, which is becoming increasingly digitized and undergoing a rigorous integration process, has already gone far beyond the traditional scoring format. Today, credit bureaus form one of the main pillars of the general information infrastructure, including the financial system," Aliyev noted.
