June 10, Fineko/abc.az. The decrease in the net profit of PASHA Bank OJSC in 2025 is linked with an increase in interest expenses.

ABC.AZ informs that Javid Guliyev, the chairman of board at PASHA Bank, made the above-said statement at a press conference dedicated to the results of 2024.

"As in other banks, PASHA Bank's interest expenses have increased. We have decided that we will not sharply reflect the increase in deposit rates in loan interests. In 2024, our net interest income decreased by 1.1% to 5.5%. In other words, the increase in interest is not reflected in interests on loans given to customers. The bank did this by giving up its own net profit," the bank noted.

In 2024, PASHA Bank's net profit declined by 21% to 214.535 million manats.
