May 30, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has withdrawn a lawsuit against Binance and its founder.

ABC.AZ informs that the agency stated that the dismissal of the lawsuit was appropriate from the point of view of the SEC's powers and policy, but this step does not reflect the commission's views on other proceedings related to cryptocurrency. Binance called the end of the proceedings a "significant moment".

The SEC sued Binance in 2023, charging the crypto exchange with 13 charges, including misrepresentation of data on the control and supervision of trading on platform Binance.US.
