Accounts Chamber came to conclusion about need of changes in fiscal legislation

The conducted analyses showed that the level of information content in the submitted documents on the implementation of State Budget 2024 was comparatively increased, and steps were also taken to improve the quality of explanations and information. As a result, the Accounts Chamber (ACA) came to the conclusion that it was necessary to amend the fiscal legislation.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the ACA’s conclusion on the Bill on the Execution of State Budget 2024.

According to the document, in accordance with article 20 of the Law on the Budget System, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the execution of the State Budget are submitted. It was found that the information provided meets the requirements of the legislation, and the data in the annual report is recognized as relatively more complete.

As in the previous year, during the reporting period, the amount allocated by state order to legal entities under public law is presented as a separate appendix to the annual report. It is also indicated that contracts were concluded with the relevant executive body or subordinate state body for state-commissioned activities at the expense of the State Budget.

In the information provided on the funds used for the State Budget reserve fund, the directions are allocated, financed from the money provided for in the reserve fund and by transferring the saved finances to the Fund in accordance with the legislation.
