May 27, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, the net profit of the Azerbaijani banking sector amounted to 339.8 million manats.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that the figure is 16.6% less versus Jan-Apr 2024.

For the past 4 months, the operating profit of the sector declined by 3.6% to 564.4 million manats.

Banks' operating income increased by 17% up to 2.125 billion manats, operating expenses by 27.3% up to 1.539 billion manats, transfers to special reserves by 40.4% up to 156.5 million manats, other income – grew 5.3-fold up to 400,000 manats.

For Jan-Apr 2025, banks paid income tax in the amount of 90.1 million manats.
