May 26, Fineko/abc.az. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov and adviser to the chairman Elvin Aliyev met with UAE Central Bank’s chairman Khaled Mohammad Balama during a visit to UAE capital Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between the central banks of the two countries, as well as discussed issues relating to interaction of the banking and financial sectors.

Following the meeting, the Memorandum was signed to strengthen cooperation, exchange experience and information in the financial sector.
