ABC.AZ reports that the price of one ounce of gold dropped from $3,258.44 to $3,235.89, which means decline of $8.31 or 0.26% in just one day.

A similar situation is observed in the silver market. The price per ounce of silver fell to $32.72, a drop of $0.21 or 0.65%.

Despite the short-term decline, the long-term dynamics of gold remains strong. Over the past 30 days, the price has increased by $21.93 or 0.68%. On a broader scale, gold rose by $679.95 or 26.52% in six months, and by $852.47 or 35.64% in a year.

This confirms that gold retains the status of a reliable investment instrument in the medium- and long-term prospect.
