May 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's income from transportation via main gas pipelines reached 2.707 billion manats last year (a rise of 7.6% year-on-year).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that in 2023 this figure was at the level of 2.516 billion manats.

40.348 bcm of gas were transported through main gas pipelines in Azerbaijan last year (2.7% more than in the previous year).

56.6% of gas transportation was carried out through South Caucasus pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum. It exports gas produced at the Shah Deniz gas condensate field. In 2024, 22.85 bcm of gas were transported through this pipeline (an increase of 4.3%).
