May 7, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, Azerbaijan's earnings from main oil pipelines totaled 1.058 billion manats (4% less year-on-year).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that in 2023 this indicator was at the level of 1.1 billion manats.

Last year 38.75 million tons of oil were transported via trunk oil pipelines (2.5% less year-on-year). 76% of oil transportation was carried out via export oil pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan. For the reported term, 29.47 million tons of oil were pumped through it (2.4% less year-on-year).

In 2024, 82% or 24.17 million tons of oil transported by BTC accounted for oil produced in Azerbaijan, and 18% or 5.298 million tons (a rise of 1.1%) for oil coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
