May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan will contribute $2 million to the 14th Asian Development Fund (ADF).

ABC.AZ informs, quoting Finance Minister, member of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank Sahil Babayev, as saying this at the annual session of the ADB in Milan.

He stressed the important role of ADF in combating climate change and supporting the poorest and most vulnerable countries in the region, noting that the fund allocates the necessary financial resources to address pressing environmental issues.

The minister added that Azerbaijan supports the activities of ADF, recognizes its importance in overcoming climate problems and promoting sustainable development in the region: “In this regard, Azerbaijan is taking the necessary steps and contributing $2 million to ADF.”
