April 17, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. imposed sanctions against owners of cargo ships from China, Malaysia and Thailand.

ABC.AZ reports that they are considered to be involved in the transportation of Iranian oil.

In total, seven companies were included in the list. Representatives of Hong Kong, Panama and the Republic of the Marshall Islands were also noted among them.

Five oil-carrying vessels were also on the sanctions list.

The U.S. signed the document before the second round of consultations between Washington and Iran, which are scheduled to take place on April 19.
