April 2, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2024, Azerbaijan became the fifth among the CIS countries in terms of nominal GDP.
According to the report of the CIS Interstate Statistical Committee, in 2024, Azerbaijan's nominal GDP amounted to $74.315 billion (4.1% more against 2023).
Among the CIS countries, Azerbaijan is ahead of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Moldova in terms of nominal GDP.
Top 5 on nominal GDP among the CIS countries in 2024 includes Russia - $2.16 trillion (a rise of 4.1% versus 2023), Kazakhstan - $288.112 billion (a rise of 4.8%), Uzbekistan - $114.9 billion (a rise of 6.5%) and Belarus - $79.09 billion (a rise of 4%).
Azerbaijan is followed by Armenia with a nominal GDP of $25.8 billion (a rise of 5.9%), Kyrgyzstan - $17.2 billion (a rise of 9%), Tajikistan - $13.7 billion (a rise of 8.4%) and Moldova - $12.9 billion (a rise of 0.6%).
