March 14, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 1, 2025, Azerbaijan signed 217 loan agreements with reputable global banks and development funds, as well as with various international financial organizations.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Cabinet Ministers’ activity report for 2024.

According to the document, these agreements provided financing for 174 projects in areas of importance for the socio-economic growth of the country.

Of the signed agreements, 105 have expired, 112 are in force.

Currently, 6 projects are being implemented across the country using foreign loans, including 2 in the transport sector, 1 in the social sector, 1 in the environmental sector, 1 in the electrical infrastructure sector, 1 in the water supply and land reclamation sector.
