March 7, Fineko/abc.az. The oil prices of benchmark grades are slightly changing in Friday’s trading.

The price of Brent crude oil futures for May on the ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.08 (0.12%) to $69.54 per barrel by 09:46. Following the trading on March 6, May’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.16 (0.23%) to $69.46 per barrel.

The price of April’s WTI crude oil futures on the NYMEX commodity exchange increased by $0.04 (0.06%) to $66.40 per barrel by 09:46. Following the trading on March 6, WTI oil futures for April grew in price by $0.05 (0.08%), to $66.36 per barrel.

The day before, both brands broke a series of declines that lasted four consecutive sessions, and as a result of which the day before their quotes fell to lows since September 10, 2024. The weekly drop could be the worst since October.
