February 27, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 31, 2025, EBRD’s current loan portfolio in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.082 bn euros. These credit resources have been used to finance 34 projects.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the EBRD that the portfolio increased by 2.85% or 30 million euros in a month. As of December 31, 2024, it was estimated at 1.052 bn euros and covered 33 projects.

According to the EBRD, the bulk of the current portfolio - 995 million euros (92%) - is aimed at developing sustainable infrastructure. Another 54 million euros (5%) accounted for the corporate sector and 33 million euros (3%) for financial institutions.

In total, the EBRD has invested more than 4.059 bn euros in Azerbaijan as part of 196 projects.

As of January 31, 2025, the bank's operating assets in the country amounted to 751 million euros, a decrease of 0.4% against December 31, 2024.

In 2024, the EBRD gave loans to finance 8 projects in Azerbaijan for totally 199 million euros (27.56% more than in 2023). For comparison, in 2023, the bank financed 2 projects.
