February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Russia and Iraq are discussing the participation of the Russian side in Nasiriyah project, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.

The parties have been cooperating for more than 10 years. In the field of oil and gas, Iraq and Russia are leading the West Qurna-2, Badra and Block 12 projects. At this stage, the Nasiriya project is being discussed.

In addition, Russia is considering participation in hydropower projects in Iraq.
