February 26, Fineko/abc.az. The share of overdue loans in the total loan portfolio calculated in Azerbaijan, including banks, NBCOs and credit unions, dropped by 0.3 percentage points and made up 1.6% against January 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Central Bank's statistical bulletin, as of February 1, 2025, 475.1 million manats out of lcredit institutions’ oans for 29.3 billion manats were overdue.

At that, the volume of overdue loans increased by 26 million manats in January. And in the monthly comparison, it was noted that the percentage of problem loans grew from 1.5% up to 1.6%.

The volume of problem loans in foreign currency loans of credit institutions totaked 106 million manats in equivalent (2.4% of the total portfolio). For January 2024, this figure was 2.3%.
