February 13, Fineko/abc.az. Improvement of tax legislation and increase of knowledge and skills of tax service employees contribute to improving efficiency in this area.
ABC.AZ informs, quoting State Customs Committee’s chair Shahin Bagirov, as saying this during his speech at today’s Baku forum "Tax Service – 25: Sustainable Development & Effective Transformation".
He noted that large-scale projects have recently been implemented to simplify tax transactions, monitor the fulfillment of tax obligations, prevent illegal trafficking and increase the availability of services.
Bagirov said that the personal account, electronic invoices, VAT Refund Project, introduction of new-generation cash registers and other innovative solutions that allow taxpayers to track their tax transactions digitally have strengthened tax control, facilitating non-cash payments, increased budget revenues and contributed to improving the business climate in the country.
