January 28, Fineko/abc.az. One of the important directions for expansion of entrepreneurial activity and development of industries in the regions is creation of industrial districts in individual cities of the country.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Tax Service that industrial quarters are of great importance in organizing the production process in terms of reducing infrastructure costs, strengthening cooperative ties, and developing micro, small, and medium-sized businesses. The latest amendments to the Tax Code provide for a number of incentive measures to support development of these neighborhoods.

Thus, in accordance with the amendments to the Tax Code, management organizations and operators are exempt from paying land tax and property tax in accordance with the land plots they use on the territory of industrial districts created by the state and their property located on this territory. These benefits represent the identity of the incentive measures established in relation to management organizations and operators of industrial parks.
