January 24, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the number of unique depositors of term deposits in the banking sector of Azerbaijan increased by 41% and reached 150,500 people, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

"Most of the growth occurred due to depositors with small amounts. Thus, 77.6% of new unique depositors were those with deposits of up to 30,000 manats. This trend shows an increase in public confidence in banks," the CBA informs.
