January 13, Fineko/abc.az. ING Group, a Dutch company, predicts that the discount rate of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will be 7.25% in 2025 and 7.75% in 2026.

ABC.AZ reports that according to company’s forecasts, the indicator is 0.25 percentage points more than previously predicted.

On December 18, 2023, the CBA Board of Directors decided to keep the discount rate at 7.25%. The lower limit of the percentage corridor was maintained at 6.25%, and the upper limit was 8.25%.

The Central Bank is expected to make its next decision on this matter in January.

ING Group predicts that at this meeting it will be decided that the discount rate will be 7.25%.
