January 7, Fineko/abc.az. Local budget revenues of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) exceeded 250 million manats in 2024, which made it possible to cover more than 50% of all budget expenditures, ABC.AZ informs, quoting NAR Minister of Finance Hasan Ismayilov.

He noted that the share of subsidies for the region from the State Budget was reduced due to reforms and financial policy.

"The past year can be considered successful in terms of the socio-economic reforms carried out in the NAR and effective financial policy. We have reduced our dependence on subsidies from the State Budget, and this year the share of local revenues will also be high. This was taken into account when drawing up the budget," the minister stressed.
