In 2024, banks increased interest payments on deposits by 52%

December 26, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, Azerbaijani banks paid interest on attracted deposits in the amount of 813.4 million manats.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the CBA that compared with Jan-Nov 2023, banks' interest expenses on deposits grew by 276.9 million manats, or 52%.

In 11 months of 2023, banks paid 536.5 million manats of interests on deposits.
