ABC.AZ informs that President Ilham Aliyev stated thisduring his speech at a ceremony dedicated to the sports results of 2024.

"I’m sure this glorious victory will become an additional inspiring factor for Azerbaijani youth. We’ve added sporting victories to our victory on the battlefield, and this, of course, further strengthens the international authority of our country. Because development of sports is a demonstration, a reflection of the overall development of each country. Azerbaijan is a strong state, a country that relies on its might, goes its own way, has no obligations to anyone, does not bow its head to anyone, steps forward with dignity and conscience, and this is our great wealth," the head of state underlined.
