December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish businessmen have always been interested in investing in Azerbaijan, but it was insufficient.
ABC.AZ reports that at a meeting with media reps, Rashad Jabirli, chairman of board at MÜSİAD Azerbaijan, emphasized this.
He noted that the incentives in this regard should be increased. For this purpose, MÜSİAD has prepared a new magazine for Turkish businessmen "101 reasons to come to Azerbaijan".
Jabirli believes that thanks to the magazine and the encouragement, it is possible to increase investment interest of Turkish businessmen in Azerbaijan.:
"Turkish businessmen have always had an interest in Azerbaijan, but for certain objective reasons it is not in the volume that we wanted. The heads of state have instructions on this matter. The volume of investments and trade turnover between the two countries should be increased. Currently, work is underway in this direction. Sometimes, when Turkish businessmen come to Azerbaijan, the reasons for their visit are unknown. In many cases, they just come to Azerbaijan, but to no avail. Therefore, we have published this publication so that Turkish businessmen have plans before they come here, so that they come purposefully. In this case, their investment interest will be even greater."
