December 17, Fineko/abc.az. From the beginning of next year, a new banking platform will be launched and operate in test mode. 

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Kenan Badalov, the head of the Financial Technology Analysis & Development Department of the Central Bank, as saying this at a training on raising awareness about financial technologies. 

According to Badalov, CBA’s open banking platform will have more opportunities. 

Thus, banks and all fintech organizations will be able to connect to the platform: "The technical completion of work on this platform is currently underway. After launching the platform, we plan to connect all financial organizations to the resource in the near future. Although the platform is called open banking, it will operate within certain control constraints. Citizens will be able to view their accounts. That is, by opening an account on the platform, the account holder will be able to view information in banks about their data. In particular, banks will be able to track the banking history of a person applying for a loan. Initially, 10 banks will join the platform."
