 December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will make a final decision on the discount rate for 2024 this week.

ABC.AZ reports that on December 18, the Central Bank will announce the eighth interest rate decision this year.

In the last four decisions, the CBA board has kept the discount rate stable.

The Central Bank has kept the discount rate unchanged at 7.25%, the lower limit of the interest rate corridor at 6.25%, the upper limit of the interest rate corridor at 8.25%.

The bank stated that subsequent decisions on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will depend on the dynamics of actual and projected inflation, external and internal risk factors.
