December 10, Fineko/abc.az. The trade turnover between Russia and China increased by 2.1% from January to November 2024 compared with the 2023 same term up to $222.77 bn, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Chinese General Administration of Customs.
China imported goods for $104.19 bn (a rise of 4% versus 2023) and imported goods from Russia for $118.57 bn (a rise of 0.4%).
The main part of Russian exports accounted for energy resources - oil, natural gas and coal. Other important areas of supply from Russia to China include metals, timber, seafood and agricultural products. China exports cars, tractors, computers, smartphones, industrial and specialized equipment, toys, shoes, air conditioners and computers to the Russian Federation.
Russia-China trade turnover grew by 29.3% in 2022, up to $190 bn. In 2023, it reached a record high of $240.11 bn, an increase of 26.3%.
