Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves reduced by $404 million

December 2, Fineko/abc.az. The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank in November decreased by another $403.9 million, or 3.55%.

ABC.AZ reports that as of November 28, 2024, the volume of reserves amounted to $10.967 billion.

Thus, over the past two months, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves have dropped by $828 million amid the intervention in the foreign exchange market.

In early November, the Central Bank stated that this was due to government spending, and not to interference in the foreign exchange market.
