November 25, Fineko/abc.az. The budget expenditures of Azerbaijan envisaged for 2025 are 1.3-fold higher than the combined budget expenditures of Armenia and Georgia.

ABC.AZ informs, quoting Azer Amiraslanov, the chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship at the parliament’s plenary session.

He pointed out that Azerbaijan's projected budget expenditures for 2025 amount to $24.3 billion (1.3-fold more against total budget expenditures of Armenia and Georgia ($18.8 billion).

The non-oil revenues of Azerbaijan’s State Budget 2025 in the amount of 19.5 billion manats or $11.5 billion, as well as the social budget in the amount of 16.9 billion manats or about $10 billion, exceed the planned budget revenues of Armenia for next year by 30-50%.

Amiraslanov noted that even without taking into account transfers from the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan, budget revenues maintain growth dynamics:

"Thus, budget revenues excluding transfers from SOFAR amounted to 23.5 billion manats in 2023, 23.6 billion manats in 2024, and for 2025 they are projected at 23.8 billion manats."
