November 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Czech Republic intends to stop importing Russian oil from July 2025.
ABC.AZ reports that deputy director of country's state pipeline company Zdenek Dandr informs about this in an interview with Reuters. Now the Czech Republic receives half of its oil demand from Russia, the publication clarifies.
The state plans to start increasing oil supplies from Western countries in the second quarter of 2025. The state-owned company will stop importing from Russia after the modernization of the Transalpine oil pipeline between Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
