Azerbaijan earned $142 million from selling tomatoes abroad

November 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2024, Azerbaijan exported 118,922 tons of tomatoes for $141.965 million.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that tomato exports increased by 12.6% in value terms and by 5% in quantitative terms against Jan-Oct 2023.

And in the first 11 months of 2023, our country exported 113,319 tons of tomatoes for $126.8 million.

This year, tomatoes made up 5.06% of total exports, and the non-oil sector accounted for about 0.62%.
