November 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Milli Majlis proposes to rename the Unemployment Insurance Fund.

ABC.AZ reports that MP Vugar Bayramov made this statement at a joint meeting of the parliamentary committees on labor, social policy and economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship during the discussion of the budget package for next year.

According to the MP, 76% of the UIF income will come from the private sector next year:

"But if we pay attention to the Fund's expenses, then in general, the amount of finances paid for unemployment insurance is projected at 17 million manats. This is 6.5% of the UIF's expenses. The remaining 93.5% will be directed to other areas. This means that even if the name of the Fund contains the word "unemployment insurance", the finances allocated for unemployment insurance from the Fund's expenses amount to only 6.5% of total expenses. Therefore, I propose to rename the Fund."
