November 18, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, State Budget stipulates to allocate 527.5 million manats for food security measures in Azerbaijan (24.6 million manats or 4.9% more than in 2024).

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the Bill on State Budget 2025.

At the expense of funds allocated for food safety measures, financing of crops provided to farmers for each hectare of cultivated area is envisaged in order to compensate for part of the cost of purchasing agricultural production facilities, crops issued per ton of crop production delivered to suppliers, seeds issued for the sale of certified seeds 1st and 2nd-reproductions and seedlings, in order to improve the breed composition of local animals, increase the number of animals with high productive genetic potential, for each healthy calf obtained by artificial insemination, a subsidy is paid for each kilogram of wet cocoon produced in Azerbaijan and delivered to suppliers, as well as benefits provided at the expense of the State Budget to agricultural producers for the purchase of equipment, sets of irrigation systems and breeding animals leased and leased, and other activities in the field of agriculture.
