November 7, Fineko/abc.az. China increased exports in October by 12.7% year-on-year up to $309 billion, the highest in 27 months, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Chinese General Administration of Customs.
Export growth was recorded for the seventh month in a row.
Chinese imports in October decreased by 2.3%, to the lowest $213.3 billion in four months.
Experts on average predicted an increase in exports in October by 5% and a decrease in imports by 1.5%, according to Trading Economics.
In September, Chinese exports grew by 2.4% and imports by 0.3%.
The positive balance of China's foreign trade balance increased to $95.7 billion in October, compared with $81.7 billion in September. The surplus is the highest since June.
