November 6, Fineko/abc.az. As part of the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Bishkek, the Memorandum on the Establishment of the Council of Central (National) Banks of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States has been signed.

ABC.AZ informs that the Memorandum was signed by the Chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan Melis Turgunbaev, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Türkiye Fatih Karahan, and Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov.

"The establishment of the Council of Central (National) Banks of the OTS member states is aimed at strengthening effective cooperation between central banks, conducting joint consultations and research to exchange experience in monetary policy, financial stability, development of payment systems, financial technologies, and other areas," the statement says.
