October 30, Fineko/abc.az. The average annual interest rate on car loans in Azerbaijan grew by 1 p.p. and reached 12% for Jan-Sept 2024, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The average annual interest rate on consumer loans for purchase of household appliances remained unchanged for the past 9 months and made up 25%, while the average annual interest rate on repair loans fell by 1 p.p. to 16%.
The average annual interest rate on consumer loans given in national currency through credit cards did not change and made up 24%, while the average annual interest rate on consumer loans given in foreign currency grew by 2 p.p. up to 7%.
Since the beginning of 2024, the average annual interest rate on other consumer loans has increased by 3 p.p. up to 20%.
