October 29, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese company Deep Blue Aerospace has sold two tickets for a tourist flight into space, scheduled for 2027.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to newspaper Global Times, that tickets worth 1 million yuans (about $140,000) for a 12-minute journey on a spaceship went away "instantly".

The broadcast during which they were purchased was watched by about 3 million people on the Taobao trading platform. And this is the first time that a Chinese company has put space flight tickets on public sale.

The spacecraft will lift six passengers to height of 100 to 150 km, where they will spend about 12 minutes in state of weightlessness.

Deep Blue Aerospace is at the forefront of Chinese commercial space companies developing space rockets to implement Beijing's ambitious plans, including creation of satellite groupings that will compete with American firm SpaceX Starlink.
