Foreigners increased bank card transactions in Azerbaijan by 59%

October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign citizens made transactions with bank cards in Azerbaijan in the amount of 1.988 billion manats ($1.169 billion) for Jan-Sept 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that compared with Jan-Sept 2023, operations increased by 739.9 million manats, or 59% in the first 3 quarters of this year.

In September alone, operations for 265.4 million manats were carried out. In September, 155.02 million manats of transactions were conducted with Visa, and 106.08 million manats with MasterCard.
