October 23, Fineko/abc.az. As of October 1, 2024, the assets of the Azerbaijani banking sector amounted to 50.84 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that the indicator is 11.7% more than on October 1, 20233.

As of October 1, the total liabilities of the banking sector reached 44.55 million manats, and the balance sheet capital — 6.29 billion manats.

In September, the assets and liabilities of banks increased by 2.6% (1.273 billion manats) and 3% (1.294 million manats), respectively.

The loan portfolio of banks in September 2024 grew by 2.4% or by 630.4 million manats up to 26.706 million manats.

The structure of the loan portfolio:

I) Business loans - 54% (14.407 billion manats);

II) Consumer loans – 30.5% (8.152 billion manats)

III) Mortgage loans – 15.5% (4.145 billion manats).
