October 23, Fineko/abc.az. The assets of non-bank credit organizations in Azerbaijan should exceed 1 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Khayyam Ismayilov, the head of the CBA Department of Supervision of the Activities of Credit Institutions, as saying this at conference "Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Microfinance".

"We believe by the end of next year, NBCOs’ assets will double. NBKOs are expanding faster than banks. In addition to increasing the assets of the sector, the network of branches is also expanding. The number of NBCO branches has reached 302, the number of employees working in NBCOs has reached 3,500, and the number of clients exceeds 700,000," Ismayilov noted.
