October 23, Fineko/abc.az. Microfinance has a special place in our economy in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Milli Majlis MP Azer Amiraslanov during his speech at the event "Innovative solutions for sustainable microfinance".

He noted that the Microfinance Association of Azerbaijan has carried out very important work.

Amiraslanov adedd that this network has a number of unique features.

"Despite the fact that the microfinance network in Azerbaijan is small, it has done an important job. First of all, microfinance protects the interests of the network, as well as its partners. There is solidarity in this community. There are goals and effective work to achieve the target group. In the 3rd quarter, loan portfolio of 26.7 billion manats was formed, including 630 million manats accounted for microfinance," the MP said.
