October 21, Fineko/abc.az. 668 hectares have been allotted for the construction of a solar power plant for green energy projects in Nakhchivan city.

ABC.AZ reports that Tural Murtuzaliyev, deputy head of the NAR State Energy Service noted that an area of 1,163 hectares has been allotted for a solar power plant in Kengerli, and 1,311 hectares for a solar power plant in Babek district.

"In addition, 1,669 hectares have been allotted in Kengerlidistrict for a solar power plant and 2,196 hectares for a wind power plant. In Shahbuz, 234 hectares are allotted for a solar power plant, 64 hectares for a wind farm, and 667 hectares in Julfa for a wind farm,” he added.
