October 18, Fineko/abc.az. In the 3rd quarter, Netflix's streaming service revenue grew by 15% to $9.8 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that net profit increased by 41% up to $2.4 billion. This is a record quarterly profit for Netflix.

The number of paid subscribers of the service increased by 14% compared with Q3 of 2023, reaching almost 283 million. The total number of subscribers also increased by 5.1 million, which is better than analysts' forecasts (4.5 million), but less than in the previous quarter (8.1 million).

The company also said that according to its forecasts, revenue for the whole of 2024 will increase by 15% — at the upper limit of earlier forecasts of growth of 14-15%.

Netflix said that in the future it is going to invest more actively in advertising and gaming projects.
