October 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to the Central Bank, the amount of population’s deposits in banks increased by 12.8% against the 2023 same term up to 14.185 bn manats in the equivalent of the national currency as of September 1, 2024.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that 66.1% of deposits were made in national currency, and 33.9% in foreign currency.

The amount of deposits in foreign currency grew by 5.5% versus the 2023 same term, and the amount of deposits in national currency by 16.9%.
