September 30, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of payments abroad by bank cards in Azerbaijan increased by 5% compared with last year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that in the first 8 months of 2024, non-cash payments for totally 2.74 bn were made using bank cards abroad (1.968 bn manats for Jan-Aug 2023).

303 million manats of non-cash payments abroad accounted for August (the largest volume of payments registered in 2024).

If in the first 8 months of last year the volume of cash withdrawal from the country totaled 120 million manats, this year the figure decreased by 12% to 106 million manats.
